The Alaska Wellness Coalition works collectively to improve the health and wellness of all Alaskans. AWC networks local and regional health and wellness alliances through information sharing of state and local data, evidence-based programming, best practices, strategic prevention, current health trends, funding opportunities, and statewide advocacy for health promotion.

The Statewide Suicide Prevention Council advises the governor and legislature on issues relating to suicide. In collaboration with communities, faith-based organizations, and public-private entities, the Council works to improve the health and wellness of Alaskans by reducing suicide and its effect on individuals and communities.

The mission of iknowmine is to provide truthful and accurate information that youth can trust in order for them to be in control of their own health. iknowmine is a program run by the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium to help support Alaska Native youth and Alaskan youth to live healthy lives. The website covers topics such as STDs, pregnancy, nutrition, Am I Gay?, dating violence, and much more. You can ask confidential questions about sex, health, and more. Don't like asking online? Healthy Alaskans 2020 (HA2020) brings together partners from many sectors across the state to improve health and ensure health equity for all Alaskans through shared understanding, united efforts, and collective accountability.  Led jointly by the State of Alaska Department of Health and Social Services and Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium, HA2020 is a framework of 25 health priorities for Alaska. Each priority has its own target for improvement to reach by 2020. This framework is based on the latest scientific evidence and the input of Alaskans from communities across the state.
